I noticed it for the first time) and presents me with a mystery - a mystery which seems to support my vague recollections in my previous post. I'm just curious, and it's interesting that I had just posted about having heard from someone in the office that MOTU had lost some records many, many years ago, when all of a sudden this page appears on the MOTU site (that is. Of course, none of this is of the slightest importance to us. Either way, it appears that they lost the original database records. The oldest records were no longer available to enter, or else they decided not to go back that far. it makes me think that they lost that data at some point, and that it happened some time after. #MOTU DIGITAL PERFORMER 6.0 UPGRADE#A company that manages to notify tens of thousands of customers about each upgrade must be using a database. Or it's possible that this was simply when they began keeping computerized records, but not very likely. Perhaps that was due to re-entering lost data, customer by customer. In other words, someone was typing them into a database sequentially from my records, not in context of all of MOTU's orders. Next, those first three orders cover a span of 6 years, and yet they are numbered 29888, 29889, and 29890. #MOTU DIGITAL PERFORMER 6.0 FULL#That's a full 8 years after my first order from MOTU, so we can assume either that their records don't go back any further (possibly the older ones were lost?), or else they decided that 1992 was far enough back for anyone. Order 71545 ordered on (view 1 lineitem)įirst of all, the top order is the oldest in the list. ![]() It shows the product, version, date ordered, and amount paid. I just noticed a link on MOTU's site to my "Order History." This is different from the Registrations page.
